The Wines

Odd Lot wines are unorthodox blends of bold red varieties. Our winemaking approach is unconventional and our winemakers have the freedom to explore, in service of making wines that are unexpected and delicious. The results are two audacious and offbeat partnerships that also happen to make enticing, big red blends.

  • Estate

    The southern region of Monterey County is defined by morning fog, strong winds, broad temperature swings and INTENSE SUNSHINE which promote the cultivation of our delicious bold red varieties: Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

  • The long, warm days allow full-bodied, dark fruit flavors to develop while the dramatic nighttime cooling preserves the balance and structure of these big, bold wines.

While we don’t take ourselves too seriously, we are positively, soberly deliberate about sustainability and stewardship of our estate vineyards.

  • Completely Certified

    Our estate vineyards are all 3rd-party Certified California Sustainable.

  • Well-designed Drip

    We use 100% drip irrigation with soil moisture sensors for maximum water efficiency.

  • Party Prevention

    250 owl boxes are placed in our vineyards to naturally control rodent populations.

  • 100% 100%

    We compost 100% of our pomace, stems and seeds and recycle 100% of the water used in our winery.
